Cera Pinout & Shielding Diagrams

Beginner+100 EXP

The Astronics Cera board features a standard physical layout that maps perfectly to popular maker libraries.

Analog Pins (A0 - A5) These channels interface with continuous voltage sensors (like light, sound, and soil moisture sensors). They read inputs on a 10-bit analog-to-digital converter, outputting values between 0 and 1023.

Digital Pins (0 - 13) Digital pins read or write binary signals (HIGH or LOW). Pins 3, 5, 6, 9, 10, and 11 support Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) to simulate analog voltage levels (useful for servo angles or LED dimming).

Power Rails (5V, 3.3V, GND) - **5V Pin**: Powers heavy sensor modules and geared motors. - **3.3V Pin**: Standard voltage for liquid crystal displays and Bluetooth modules. - **GND Pin**: Ground connection. Never bridge VCC directly to GND to avoid short circuits.
